Develop Your Energy (“we”, “us”) operates developyourenergy.net. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English.

Who we are

Develop Your Energy is run by Dan Ferrera in Michigan, USA. For anything related to this policy, email sifudanferrera@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Orders. When you buy a course we collect your name, email address, billing details and the items purchased so we can deliver your downloads, send receipts and provide support. Payment is processed by PayPal; we never see or store your card number.
  • Account. If you create an account you can view past orders and re-download courses. Your password is stored encrypted.
  • Contact form and email. Messages you send us, including your name and email, so we can reply.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is stored with our email provider until you unsubscribe (every email has an unsubscribe link).
  • Comments. Name, email, comment text and IP address, used for spam detection (Akismet).
  • Usage data. Standard server logs and aggregate site statistics (pages viewed, referrer, country, device type). We use Jetpack Stats and may use Google Analytics 4; these do not identify you by name.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the shop to work (cart contents, login session), and analytics cookies to understand which pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart and account features will not work without the necessary ones.

How we use your information

To deliver what you bought, answer your questions, send the newsletter you asked for, keep the site secure and improve our content. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Who we share it with

Only service providers needed to run the site: PayPal (payments), our web host, our email provider, Automattic/Jetpack (statistics, security and spam filtering) and Google (analytics, embedded YouTube videos). Each is bound by its own privacy policy. We will disclose information if required by law.

Embedded content

Articles may embed YouTube videos or other third-party content. Those services may set their own cookies and collect data as if you had visited their site directly.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes and so you can re-download your courses. Contact messages are kept while your question is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we may need to keep order records required by law). Email sifudanferrera@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; if you are in California you have the rights described in the CCPA, and we do not sell personal information.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to order data is limited to the site owner.

Children

Our courses are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
