Sifu Dan Ferrera demonstrates 4 exercises to give you energy and alertness. The first is a Tibetan method known as turtle breathing with a kundalini style form of breathing. The second is a method of stimulating and rubbing areas of your body. The third exercises involves a method of breathing and stimulating your ear lobes focusing on your core. The last exercise is very effective to wake yourself up, creating a sense of controlled panic through controlled oxygen deprivation.

    I’ve seen the crossed arm ear lobe grab + squat kriya (rep’ed 3x) as a traditional greeting to Lord Ganesh in Hindu temples. A Shaivite tradition also teaches it as part of a Ganesh puja. Thank you!
